Nice to see the DOJ looking out.
The Department of Justice filed a federal complaint Tuesday against the city of Corpus Christi claiming its human resources department practiced a pattern of discrimination against prospective female police officers.

The complaint states the city violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and challenges the department's use of a physical ability test for new officers.

Between 2005 and 2011, the department's physical test excluded women who were otherwise qualified for police duty, according to the complaint.
