A suspended Aransas County Court-at-Law judge is a step closer to returning to the bench after waiving his right to appeal a sanction from the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Judge William Adams, who as a family law judge hears child abuse cases, went on paid suspension in November after his daughter uploaded a secretly recorded YouTube video showing the judge whipping her with a belt seven years earlier, when she was 16.

The republicans have done their best to ruin our court system.
