One Texas Republican, who asked not to be identified by name, called Bush’s plans to run for office “exciting” for the state’s GOP.

“It’s exciting that the younger generation wants to get involved in Texas politics,” he said. “We need fresh faces and new leaders.”

Reread that last sentence. Fresh faces with old republican family names.
