'Flour Bluff/Padre Island Coastal Cotillion holds Etiquette Workshop'
Mrs. Elaine Boughton began the second part of the session, which was introductions, manners and dining etiquette. The debutantes were taught the formal dinner place setting as well as the informal dinner place setting. The do's and don'ts of dining etiquette which include how to fold your napkin, posture at the table, which utensil is used for certain foods and how to care for the china and crystal also were stressed. Table manners for a typical evening meal were discussed as well as etiquette for a dinner party with you as the hostess or the guest. She also shared some of her experiences at dinner parties and engagements. Mrs. Susan Lawson assisted with the table settings.
