Musicians may want to start taking the long road around Hudspeth County, Texas. After officers arrested Fiona Apple on charges of possessing hashish last week (the latest in a long line of musician arrests there), Apple took to the stage at a concert promising to make the arresting officers "famous."

Now, Rusty Fleming, the public information officer for the Hudspeth County Sheriff's Office, has answered Apple with a letter of his own, which TMZ has printed. In it, he raises the bar for bullying, sexist condescension that doesn't seem especially becoming for an officer sworn to protect the public.
