An advertising agency has removed 12 bus benches from roadways where they no longer could display advertising.
Cooper Outdoor Advertising, which owns bus benches used by Regional Transportation Authority passengers, found out this year that advertising had to be removed from the benches in the state's right of way because it violated the federal Highway Beautification Act.
