Actually, witch hunt is the perfect term to describe men viciously going after women in the name of religion. Yeah, the men who allowed pedophiles to flourish in the Catholic church, excommunicated a Sister for saving the life of a mother of four in Phoenix, and excommunicated a mother and a nine year old in Brazil because the sexually abused child needed an abortion to save her live. And, what about the money laundering and power intrigue going on at the Vatican itself? Does anybody else find it appropriate for the Vatican to name its bank the 'Institute for Religious Works'? Yup, money and power are God.

For the last four Tuesdays a group has gathered at the San Juan Basilica to pray for the sisters of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.

The LCWR is under investigation by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The group that gathered at the Basilica is Call to Action of the Rio Grande Valley. The number of people in the praying group increased week by week.
