Cody, 23, was charged with battery and official misconduct in the beating of an inmate during an argument at the Montgomery Corrections Facility? Inmate Timothy Burroughs, 22, alleged Cody hit him with his knees and fist, pushed him into a steel door and choked him.

Did you know Genevieve Miller says a JSO Corrections officer beat her during booking March of 2004 after she was arrested for marijuana possession? Miller's mug shot shows two black eyes and a broken nose. Miller says after the beating, she was put in a restraining chair and officers walked by taunting her and pointed at their nose and laughed.

Did you know that Rutherford has said he will not tolerate excessive force by police? I guess Sheriff Rutherford does not consider the treatment John Laughon recieved as excessive force. His injuries were life threatening and they were not self induced. If John was as combatant as JSO claims why wasn't an extraction team used and the extraction video taped? After all, this is proceedure.
