On three house-lined cul-de-sacs in a western Hidalgo County subdivision, the U.S. Census Bureau counted a total of 14 residents. In another neighborhood block, with 42 rooftops visible through aerial photographs, the 2010 census reported there were only two residents.republicans don't want Hispanics to vote or have representation. Much easier to abuse and use people that way.
That’s some of the preliminary evidence Hidalgo County has gathered as it challenges the 2010 census results that put Hidalgo County’s population at 774,000, a growth of 36 percent over the previous decade. County officials are using technology to incorporate data such as aerial photographs, 9-1-1 addresses and appraisal information as they attempt to prove the census missed thousands of residents in rural, isolated colonias that are historically undercounted.
